Heyy Dear,

Photosynthesis is considered endothermic as energy, in the form of sunlight, is required to conduct photosynthesis that means that heat is absorbed during photosynthesis.

Hope it helps you.

Thanks.

An endothermic reaction is one that requires energy to happen. The energy of the products is greater than the energy of reactants.

In a photochemical reaction, light acts as an energy source, allowing reactions to happen that would not normally occur.

It is important that not all photochemical reactions are endothermic. They may have one step that requires energy (“activation energy”) but from there, everything is downhill and releases energy. Consider the decomposition of ozone into molecular oxygen. Light energy is required to start this process, but it releases more energy than is put in.
