Photosynthesis is considered to be an “endothermic reaction” because it absorbs the sun's energy to enable thereaction to happen. Like most of theendothermic reactions, the plants do not absorb heat but they absorb sun's photothermal energy to perform 'photosynthesis' in order to produce starch.
