plasma plasma membrane is a selectively permeable membrane and it is made up of network of protein and paid it is called the differentially or selectively permeable membrane because of it characteristic that it allows only those particle inside which have I used in the cell and lock those which are not in use due to this it is known as selectively or differentially permeable membrane.
