Hey mate, here is your answer,
Plasmolysis is called a chemical reaction because
In cytoplasm, chemical reactions occur.
Inside it , various enzymes are present. They help to speed up the reaction.

Hope this helps ❤

In nature, the process of Plasmolysis rarely happens. If it were to happen, it would happen only under extreme conditions.

It is the process by which cells lose water when immersed in a solution of high concentration.

In laboratories, Plasmolysis is induced by soaking cells in strong sugar or saline solutions. Since sugar and salt are used for this process, it is considered a chemical reaction.
