Plastics that are chlorinated can release a number of chemicals into the soil that is present in the surrounding system. This in turn results in these chemicals seeping into the groundwater and polluting the natural ecosystem. In addition to this, plastics can cause a lot of harm to animals that survive on this water.

plastic litters our surroundings as it cant be decompsed by microbes. i.e, its non biodegradable.

plastic when thrown around could be eaten by animals which might kill them.

plastic when burnt in order to dispose, releases deadly fumes which should not be inhaled.
