Plastic is important because it is lighter than many other materials.

plastic is used to make plastic bags , bottles , toys , some machine parts etc.

now thinks a bag of plastic and paper , if we keep some thing in paper bag than it can be tear easily but plastic can't also things kept in paper bag can be wet but in plastic bag things can't be wet.

Now formula of plastic is ( C2H4 )n
Plastic is polymer .

One more example , that now a days PVC pine is mostly used than iron pipe because it is stronger , flexible and rust free

so list of advantage is many....


NOW COMING TO DISADVANTAGE,

we all know that plastic is non biodegradable that release carbon dioxide .
And it last for hundreds and thousands of years.

This can make land dead , plastic stop oxygen to go in land.

By burning it , it releases harmful gases ,

So plastics are harmful to us...
