Why is plot more important than character or speech in a tragedy?

Simply because the characters, story....in a nutshell ,everthing is woven together with the plot.

A good plot and a good expression matters. Your story should be clear and should sound the way it should sound in English and same goes for other languages as well. Plot matters. This is what the story is. But expression matters too.

You should be fluent. Your idea should co-relate.
