Pluto is not a planet anymore because IAU International Astronomical Union have removed the Pluto from planet list because Pluto is not a planet, it is dwarf planet. The characteristics that a planet have, Pluto does not have some.

The International Astronomical Union said that a object in the space is a planet when :

• orbits the sun.

• has sufficient mass to be round, or nearly round.

• is not a satellite (moon) of another object.

• has removed debris and small objects from the area around its orbit.

Pluto does not removes debris and small objects from its orbit, so it is not a planet.
