Population education is multidimensional because it effects all aspects of life - birth, death, migration, health status, employment status, economic status, housing and other issues. It is always changing, and you need to understand how it is changing to understand the issues of the day. One of the biggest changes in the USA is the big change in racial composition - we are reaching the point where there will be more non-white (including Hispanic origin) people than white non-Hispanic population. This will impact everything else going on in the USA.
