They create a environment in a country to live and utilize it's resources
Population is the pivotal element in social studies because of the following reasons
(i) It's one or the main point or case where whole social study depends
(ii) Resources, calamites, disaster are only worthy if population is there
(iii) Good health is related to a disease free, population free and a healthy population that is always an important need of a country
