Why is potassium at the top of the reactivity series?

Potassium is in top of metal reactivity series because potassium has only one valence electron which help it to be the most reactive metal of all and allow it to give their ions quickly and make a 8 electron complete shell

becoz it's melting point is very low,it reacts with another metal easily.Also it is kept in kerosene oil.
