only when public or society at large is healthy, we individuals living there will b healthy. if people around us at not hygienic how can we expect us to be healthy.so in order to avoid spreading of desises we need to maintain public hygiene

Public hygiene is equally important as personal hygiene. This is because keeping oneself clean is of no use if not done in a civilized manner. Our personal hygiene won't last long if we don't keep our surroundings clean. Along with using a personal space we also use the public surroundings or transport.
