Due to its low retentiveness it is not used as a permanent magnet

Alnico is used for this

They are made by coiling a conductor around a magnetic material with high rententivity

Toppr: retentiveness means
VrandaARastogi: able to absorb and hold moisture.
VrandaARastogi: retentive
Toppr: Thnx
