Rainforests are known as green lungs of the earth as they purify the air around them and make it fresh for breathing

Heya friend!

In the current global scenario, global warming has plagued our lives and there is a dearth of natural resources available on earth. There is enormous pollution everywhere around us and we really need green hubs and shelter belts to actually get a breather!

We all know how trees release oxygen during photosynthesis, which is needed by us to perform our metabolic activities and thus for our survival . The rainforests which remain evergreen due to high quantity of rainfall they receive, are called the green lungs since they purify air and enable us to breathe the freshness in. ....

Hope that helps you!
