why is rate of respiration in aquatic organism is faster than that of Terrestrial organisms?

Aquatic organisms , in water the oxygen is dissolve with water due to which the quantity of oxygen is low, and hence the rate of respiration in aquatic organism is faster , on other hand, the oxygen in atmosphere is high , and terrestrial organisms can get it easily , and hence the respiration rate is low

Because there is a lack of oxygen in water so trastial animal respire much faster
