why is red colour selected for danger signals

pushpojit223: red , always in after eyes and it' also a gradient color so it is considered our eyes retina as a danger we know bleeding is dangerous thing so that our brain decided danger color red ,so traffic also in red symbol to prevent accident.

the red coloured light is selected for the danger signal because:
:-the red light scatters more frequently in the atmosphere so it is used as the danger signal and it can be seen from the farthest distance.

Red-coloured light is least scattered by fog or smoke.So it can be seen from a long distance.Therefore, danger signal lights are red in colour.
