Answer: Red light is use as a danger signal.

Explanation: it is because it has long wave length,therefore the red light is scattered the least by the air molecules of atmosphere.Hence the light of red color compared to other colours can penetrate to a longer distance without becoming weak. Thus it can be seen from even farthest distance.
