Why is resistivity of alloys more than its constituent metals?

Alloys have larger resistivity than that of its constituent elements because alloys have better properties than that of metals. ... Higher the resistivity smaller will the conductivity. So alloys are so manufactured that they don't allow the flow of electrons through them.
