because it releases energy during this process, as glucose combine with oxygen to form Co2 and H2o with release of energy

arhaam: but why does it release energy? how?

a chemical reaction in which heat is given out is called exothermic reaction

when we take food then the glucose split into H2O + O2 + heat

(respiration splitting up of glucose)

that's why respiration consider as an exothermic reaction

arhaam: okay
arhaam: can you tell me why heat comes out?
arhaam: how and from where?
arhaam: after that ill mark
Anonymous: because glucose split
Anonymous: understood
arhaam: so?
Anonymous: C6H12O6 + 6O2 = 6CO2 + 6H2O + HEAT
Anonymous: now clear
arhaam: thanks. yes
