An exothermic reaction is a reaction in which energy is liberated out.Respiration is considered as exothermic reaction because energy is released in this process.Glucose combines with oxygen present in our cells to form carbon dioxide and water along with energy.

C₆H₁₂O₆ + 6O₂ ----> 6CO₂ + 6H₂O + energy

Answer:

jab oxygen lungs ki alveoli ke dwara blood me Chala jaaata hai, toh blood usse carry krta hai aur cells Tak le jaata hai. Jab oxygen cell ke andar jaata hai tbb vaha mitochondria me vo glucose ko todta hai....tbb carbon dioxide aur energy ke saath heat bhi nikalti hai...isiliye ye exothermic reaction hota hai
