Answer :

1. We need energy to stay alive .

2. We get this energy from the food we eat .

3. As we humans cannot prepare food on our own hence we follow the method of Holozoic Nutrition .

4. In Holozoic mode of nutrition the complex food particles which are ingested whether it may be solid or liquid will be transferred to the specialised digestion track where 5 crucial stages will be carried out .

5. The five Crucial stages are ;

\fbox{\bf {\huge{2. Digestion }}}}

\fbox{\bf {\huge{3. Absorption }}}}

\fbox{\bf {\huge{4. Assimilation}}}}

\fbox{\bf {\huge{5. Egestion }}}}

6. These are the five Crucial stages in the Holozoic Nutrition .

7. Generally, Rice and bread contains more carbohydrates .

8. The simplest form of carbohydrates is Glucose and the complex form of carbohydrates is cellulose or starch .

9. Generally, whenever we eat rice . The rice when ingested into our body it will sent to the 5 important stages .

10 . During the digestion, The food we eat will be converted into the form of glucose which is the simplest form of sugar .

11. This glucose when produced reacts with the oxygen present inside the cells to release out the energy.

12 . Here is the chemical equation

\bold{\large{{C}_{6}{H}_{12}{O}_{6} + 6{O}_{2}\:------> C{O}_{2} + {H}_{2}O + Q ( heat energy)}}

13. The actual name of this process is Respiration.

14. Therefore,

In the process of respiration the heat energy is released out .

15. According to chemistry, in any reaction if the heat is released then it is said to be as exothermic reaction.

16. Hence the respiratory is also considered as exothermic reaction .

17. In fact that is why glucose is also known as the instant source of energy .
