⟶Respiration is considered an exothermic reaction because :-

  • Respiration is a burning process of food in body to produce energy.
  • Respiration is considered as an exothermic reaction because, in respiration process, oxidation of glucose takes place which produces a large amount of heat energy which stored in the form of ATP.
