respiration is considered as exothermic reaction because some amount of heat is produces .
pbo is getting reduced and c is getting
oxidized .
Mno2 is getting reduced and Hcl is getting oxidised

the reaction in which both oxidation and reductiontakes place is called redox reaction.

Respiration is called an exothermic reaction because it releases energy at the time of respiration.

in first chemical reaction  in 2pbo+c-->pb+co2

first reduction  then oxidation takes place
