why is respiration considered as an exothermic reaction explain

in the process of respiration glucose is broken down and in doing this heat is not needed but after the process end heat is produced along with energy to keep our body warm
so respiration is considered as an exothermic reaction

respiration considered as an exothermic reaction because in exothermic reaction energy is released and so, as we know in tye process of respiration glucose is breakdown in the form of ATP so, we can say that respiration is an exothermic reaction
