• About 3% of the remaining water is fresh out of which 2% it is trapped in polar caps in the form of glaciers.
• Hence, only 1% of the water present on earth can be used for drinking.
• Even out of this remaining water, half of the water is present in the form of groundwater which cannot be used directly.
• Hence, we can say that clean drinking water is not available to all.
