The school boy in the poem is not happy because his parwnys forces him to go to school while he don't want to go to school he feels that he caged there. At morning he wakes up with the birds chirping and feels very happy and fresh but as he has to go to school he feels saf about it and he is happy only on sunday as on sunday there a holiday from school. From all these reasons the school boy is not happy.
