Hi. A visual programming language is that which provides us ways like drag and drop to create objects and move them or do a function when they are clicked or a key on thr keyboard is pressed. Since Scratch has all the above features, it is called a Visual Programing language. Note that is is not actually a programming language - it is a program designed to increase student's interest in computers. Hope it helps!
