Hi, i also asked this question once but got stupid ans , but i will give u the right ans :-)



this is important because if the seed are not dispersed, many germinating seedlings will grow very close to the parent plant. this result in competition between every one of the seedling as well as parent plant for light,space,nutrients and water, resulting into the poor nutrition
