Why is separation of right side and left side of heart not required in amphibians?

Answer:

Separation of left side and right side is not required in amphibians because amphibians release co2 from its skin surface and only oxygenated blood comes to heart. As co2 is released at the same time when new oxygenated blood arrives in cell it is not carried to heart.
