why is series appliance not used at domestic use​

In Series circuit, If one electrical appliances stops working due to some defect, then all appliances will stop working.

---> In series circuits, all electrical switches will have common switch due to which they cannot be turned off/On separately.

--->In series circuit, The volatge[220v] will be divided across all electrical

appliances .

---> Overall resistance of circuit will increase due to which the current from power supply will be less.

Hence we prefer Parallel Circuits for domestic wiring

bcz in series combination , all appliances have a single switch that's why we can't use appliances separately.

in series combination if one appliance stops working all other appliances stops working .

hence we don't use series combination in domestic use
