1. In series arrangments the current flown in circuit get reduced.
2. In series arrangments the equivalent resistance is more than sum of all individuals resistance.
3. In series arrangments if one component is failed then the circuit get break .
4. In series arrangments the heat produced is more .

Reason:-

Series arrangments :- The arrangements of resistance in which resistance is connected one by one or end by end.

Due to the increase in effective resistance they are not used as house holding curcuits .
