Good Question. Being a student from this young generation it makes me sad to tell that sex education is not encouraged in India.
I can say the main reason is people consider it a taboo to speak about sex before thier children this makes children view sex as a something bad and feel uneasy to speak about it.
Teachers are not properly trained to explain about sex. If u r in tenth grade u might have been studying about reproductive system. U will notice that teachers won't explain it clearly and u will be left out with many questions.
I really think sex education has to be implemented in our country ..and I think the main cause for not implementing it is lack of understanding between people.
