In stanza 3 of Robert Louis Stevenson's poem "My Shadow" the speaker thinks that his shadow is a coward and sticks to his body always. He think that way because the shadow does not separate from him. The speaker says that the shadow fears everyone and sticks to him more than he ever stick to his nurse or babysitter.
