hi friend,
here ur answer,
The fur of the sheep traps air and acts as an insulator so the heat generated does not flow out and keeps the animal warm in winter. As we know that while shearing the fur is removed from the body so the animal will feel cold in winter. Therefore, shearing is done in summer.
hope it helps!
best wishes

Shearing is done in summers because sheep can survive without their protective coat of hair in the hot weather.
