Why is Shimla cooler than Ludhiana?

This is because Shimla is a hill station and its altitude is also higher than Ludhiana. That's why it is cooler than Ludhiana.

shimla and ludhiana are in the sea level and are in the same derction and in the hill station so,that shimla is coller than ludhiana
