Silver Chloride stored in dark coloured bottles because it decomposes when it comes in contact with direct sunlight and releases a greenish yellow gas ( chlorine ) having sharp pungent choking odour and a black metal ( silver ) is left behind.
Hence to prevent this decomposition we store Silver Chloride in a dark coloured bottle.
