gardens and forest are cooler than rocky areas because of plants.since,the rocky areas are mainly bare so their is no plants their so the rocky areas are hotter.this is because plants release water vapour in the atmosphere and makes the air cool.
Singapore is hotter than Beijing because it is closer to the equator and receives less rainfall than Beijing. hope it would be helpful 2 u :)
