why is sini = i in small angled prism

For thin prisms or small angle prisms, as the angles become vèry small, the sine of the angle nearly equals the angle itself, i.e. sin(A+D2)=A+D2 and sin(A2)=A2 . Since the angles are small, so sini=i and sinr1=r1 . Since the angles are small, so sine=e and sinr2=r2 .
