why is small intestine in herbivores larger than carnivores.....????​

because cellulose eaten by herbivores takes larger time to digest while digestion of protiens is mostly done in stomach so carnivores dont have to digest for long period of time so they have smaller small intestine

Herbivores eating grass need a longer small intestine to allow the cellulose to be digested. Whereas Meat is easier to digest, hence carnivores like tiger have shorter small intestine.
