because herbivores do not eat meat, chicken etc. but carnivores do... meat and chicken and other non veg stuff contains a lot of protiens and nutrients and that's need to be digested, for that small intestine is a little longer in carnivores.... the main point here is that food is absorbed in small intestine and for that absorption of very large amount of proteins and carbohydrates, small intestine is longer in carnivores
