Why is small intestine in herbivores longer than in carnivores?​

Small intestine is longer in herbivores like rabbit, cow, etc. than in the carnivores like lion, tiger, etc. because cellulose takes longer period to be digested completely.

Because they have to digest the cellulose which is in the cell wall in the leaves so plant have long intestine then the animal.
