The herbivore animals eat plants, thus cellulose too. The digestion of cellulose is little difficult then the digestion of flesh. So they have longer small intestine as compare to carnivore.

Answer:

Hey Buddy here's ur answer

As we know herbivores only consumes green plant and leaves so for the digestion of cellulose takes a longer time, because the enzymes are produced by the ruminant bacteria that live in the gut of the herbivore. Longer small intestine ensures that the food stays for a longer duration and proper digestion is possible.
