Small intestine is shorter in carnivores than herbivores because herbivores eat only grass or leafy foods which contains a huge amount of cellulose, as cellulose takes a long time to digest, herbivores have a longer small intestine than carnivore.
_________Alternate answer:__________
Carnivores have different types of glands secretions present in their body which makes it easier for them to digest any kind of food and this takes a small amount of time to digest. Hence carnivores have shorter small intestine than herbivores.
