smoke is considered as a suspension because it is a mixture of dust,air,carbon etc. The particles of dust are bigger than those of solution and colloid and if we keep smoke in a jar for sometime on rest its dust particle get stable on in the bottom of the jar. That's why we call it as a suspension.
