The differences in the climate is due to the following :
a. The temperature in Rajasthan is 50 degrees because the state is desert region with less vegetation. The area is characterised by less precipitation and has arid climate. Since it is closer to equator, the region experiences high temperature during summers.
b. Pahalgam on the other hand is in high altitude, is further away from the equator and has sub tropical highland climate.
