As formula of CH3COONa is due to presence of sodium whereas in presence of lead it is written in form of Pb(CH3COO)2 because symbol of lead is Pb(plumbum).

SoundStorm14: But why is Sodium Written at The Last Whereas Lead Is Written at The First?

Since, sodium and acetate both are monovalent therefore sodium acetate is written as "CH3COONa"
Whereas, lead is diavalent and acetate is monovalent so,chemical formula of lead acetate is Pb(CH3COO)2.

Hope its helpful !

samaayeraAngel: so,while framing chemical formula with criss-cross method
SoundStorm14: but why is lead written first and sodium at last
samaayeraAngel: we have to write the 2+valency of lead in formula
SoundStorm14: so that's why lead is written first, isn't it?
samaayeraAngel: lead is written first so and acetate in bracket and 2 at last bcz it represents that lead has valency 2
samaayeraAngel: ya
samaayeraAngel: have u understood now
SoundStorm14: All right, thanks. Shall I add you as a friend?
samaayeraAngel: wlcm
samaayeraAngel: ya u can add
