Hey Mate..

Sodium and Potassium are the most reactive metals on this earth. They react very explosively with both water and air this is why they are stored in kerosene .

sodium & potassium are highly reactive metals.

with reaction with H2O (water or moisture) they burn violently.

as there is moisture in air to prevent their burning they are stored in kerosene as moisture can't enter it.
