why is soil leveled before Sowing? farmers of North India used to grow legumes in one season and wheat in the other season . what will be the probable reason for this practice?

so that the soil holds plant easily and grow at very large rate and also to get equal nutrients and minerals

crop rotation is done to restore nitrogen by rhizobium bacteria present in legumes root

soil is leveled to provide all crops equal nutrients so that their is a good cultivation
