Renewable Resources: The resources which can be renewed easily are called renewable Resources. For ex. Wind, water, sunlight, etc.
Now, the formation of soil takes some months and even some years. Whereas water, wind, sunlight etc. are renewed very quickly and do not deplete easily. The weathering of rocks take's some time for the formation of soil. The period which it takes aren't in the terms of renewable resources. So, that's why soil is referred as non-renewable resource.
