because it is too expensive to use other are just in low expenditure but solar appliances are really expensive as compared to other appliances....

other reason is in the rainy days it is difficult to use appliances based on solar energy as there is no light clears the cloud. ......

so it is hard to make the use of solar energy though it is free of cost

it even needs proper maintenance which is time consuming
hence ppl donot prefer solar energy
